Official 2012 Porsche 911 images leaked onto the Internet!

The all-new 991 Porsche 911 is here! Like almost every 911 before it, the iconic coupe's design has not changed too much, keeping the line's classic styling and proportions intact. The LED running lamps have been improved, the air intakes up front have been revised and some thinner taillights have been added but the new 2012 model is very similar to the 997 911 currently out on the road.

The big changes, though, are more than skin deep. The new model is about two inches longer than the current 911, and has a revised six-cylinder engine. The base Carrera now uses a 3.4-liter direct-injected flat-six, giving it about 350 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, while the Carrera S will use a direct-injected 3.8-liter unit, giving it about 400 horsepower. Both engines will be set to a seven-speed manual or PDK dual-clutch transmission, both can be had with launch control.

The cabin of this 911 uses a design borrowed from the Panamera, with a more prominent, downward-sloping center console. Like the exterior, nothing radical has been done to the car's insides, and the is a-okay with most Porsche purists! Check out The Auto Gallery Porsche's inventory here
