What do you look for in the ideal sports car? Power? Nimble handling? Performance? Since the car's inception half a century ago, the Porsche 911 has been the industry standard for all three. And over the years, it's only gotten better.
The engine now has direct fuel injection (DFI), allowing for maximum efficiency, and increased power. A 3.6-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine is located low down in the rear of the chassis, giving the car signature handling characteristics. The engine provides 345 hp at 6,500 rpm and 288 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm. With a top track speed of 180 mph this car will not disappoint.
Power! Handling! Performance! These three features will forever set the Porsche 911 Carrera apart from all sports cars.

With their wider body- the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is instantly recognizable. The body is an extra 44 mm at the rear wings and 32mm more in the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S models. This extra body ensures outstanding driving dynamics and traction. The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 4S can also be identified easily by their titanium-colored front air intake grilles and slats, and the new seamless tail light strip. Painted in black for contrast, the trims on the rear panel and sides deliver improved protection against stone impact.
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 with its 3.6-liter engine can accelerate from 0 to 62 MPH in 5 seconds. When driven flat-out 911 Carrera 4 has a top speed of 284 km/h, which is about 185 mph.
The Porsche Carrera 4S does the run to 62 mph in just 4.7 seconds and reaches full speed at 297 km/h or 177 mph.
Both models are equipped with Porsche Traction Management intelligent all-wheel drive, which until now has been exclusive to the 911 Turbo. PTM has been optimized for outstanding driving dynamics, which are also reinforced by the mechanically locking rear differential. In addition, this traction offered by the PTM represents a significant safety feature especially in wet and snowy conditions.
The 911 Carrera 4 and 911 Carrera 4S models show improvements in both safety and dynamics once again setting them apart.
